Thoughts on Philadelphia...

1) The city should be renamed "The City that Honks at you". I don't know where these people are in such a hurry to get to, but they sure let you know it...don't pause to change your cd in this town, you might get rear-ended.
2) I'm not racist or prejudiced in any way, but I noticed a lot of African-American folks in Philadelphia. This is neither good nor bad, just an observation. Everyone seemed friendly enough, except for the punk kids who tried to jump my partner in crime to steal water...we couldn't figure that one out...
c) "My, that's certainly not a cable in that drawer..."
4) Cheesesteaks are over-rated. They're good and all...but I think there are much better things to be had.
5) Amish people (even people pretending to be Amish people) can cook some mighty good apple cobbler...(I highly recommend Reading Market)
5a) Try to go on a week day so it's not as crowded...
6) Visiting Philly to see the Liberty bell and all of the historical buildings is what most people want to do...what they don't realize is that they have to wait in a line for 2 hours and submit to a search of their personal items just to see a 300 year old broken bell and some old buildings...
f) Instead, you can take pictures of the LOVE statue, the building from Ghostbusters 2, some huge monopoly pieces, a few bronze ">statues, and some clever man-hole covers. (pictures to follow hopefully...stay tuned)
8) Never EVER use ATA airlines...they will make you late and lose your luggage.

p.s. I got sick in Philadelphia and been forced into quarantine on Planet Poorly...more on that later.
