One of the realities of working in a hospital...there are patients here. I get calls from people and in the background I can usually hear what's going on. Today I got a call from the ED. In the background I could hear moaning. LOUD moaning...then someone yelling 'HELP ME!!" I realize there are people in this world who are not the same as me. They have problems much worse than mine. It's still a little disconcerting to hear on the other end of the phone though...
