Ahh the brilliant people I work with.
There is a man in my office (I should think of a name for him) who obviously thinks he's the coolest guy around when he gets to transfer people on the phone. He'll get a call, go to transfer the person and then...without fail...ALWAYS says something like the following "When I press the warp transfer button, 'so and so' will be automatically transferred to you for your convenience." He then presses the transfer button and yells 'GO!' He does this no matter who he's transferring the line to. Maybe he hasn't grasped the whole concept of transferring. That seems to be a common theme in these "complicated" phone systems. What is so hard about hitting transfer, dialing the number, saying hey 'so and so is on the line' and then pressing transfer again? No yelling GO! No making an arse of yourself with the 'warp transfer' nonsense. Sure it may be funny the first time...maybe even the 2nd. But when you do it every time, you just look like a moron.
Then again, who said he isn't?
