Were you a nerd in high school? I wasn't (I conveniently even got out of being called a band geek), but I found this article very interesting (although rather long.) There are some conspiracy-type theories that American schools are designed to create a generation of mindless, conformist, idiots. I'm not sure I entirely agree with that idea, but the concept was entertaining anyway.
