Cement sunburn and the "sound of freedom"

I went to an airshow today. It was free. You know, because nothing is better during a fuel crisis than an airshow using lots of...fuel...needlessly. I have to admit though, it was very cool and I didn't realize how fast Super Hornets actally went. 550mph is pretty fucking fast and will make your ears hurt after a while. It was also a great big FUCK YOU to all of the residents that live near the air field who complain about the jet noise. Hmm...seems to me like these idiots would have figured that out before they moved there.
The funniest bit was when the Skytypers spelled "Happy Annivdsary Doti". OOps. Apparently there is no spellcheck in sky typing.
I took a lot of precautions about not getting a sunburn but ended up with one anyway. You see, I can't even say the word sun without burning. So now I am a lovely shade of crimson just because we were standing on white cement. Who would have known. I guess I should have...
